Walking Map of Bluffton

Burnt Church Distillery – Bluffton

“Just when you think you know everything about the South Carolina Lowcountry, along comes Burnt Church Road. Our distillery is rooted in unearthing the truth behind where the road got its name, as well as demystifying local folklore that went along with it. We’re here to make a meaningful contribution by crafting unique and flavorful spirits wrapped in history and shared experience.”

Stop in this truly beautiful distillery for lunch or dinner, whiskey or spirit tastings starting at $7.00 or just to tour the location.

Coligny Plaza

“This always bustling plaza is fun to explore. In addition to the usual souvenir gift shops and eateries, there are a number of unusual places to visit worth checking out that sell high-end fashions and accessories, and less-traditional foodstuffs.”

Daufuskie Island

“Take a trip to a place that can only be described as paradise beyond—Daufuskie Island. Without a bridge to the mainland, and only a few paved roads, Daufuskie Island is steeped in a simpler time. White sand beaches, ancient oaks, Spanish moss and historical landmarks all lend a rural, “back-in-time” feel, while an eclectic arts scene keeps the spirit of the island alive and thriving. Elegant homes nestle against white sand beaches, championship golf courses challenge the willing and life-long residents greet you with hospitality reserved for friends, not strangers. This fascinating combination of new and old, tradition and progress means Daufuskie is the perfect destination to step back in time, unplug from the everyday and reconnect with friends and family.”
